- Conte says he expects his future at Chelsea to be decided next week
Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has revealed that he expects his future at the club to be settled by next week.
Even though there has been some serious speculation that the Italian will leave Stamford Bridge, after the FA Cup final against Manchester United, the club, Chelsea are expected to part with Conte this summer, after months of squabbles over the club’s transfer policy, as well as a run of poor results.
However, Conte’s deal is to expire in June 2019, but he has continually remained coy about staying beyond the summer.
When asked about his future at the England side, Conte replied: “No, but for sure, probably, I will go to Milan for the [testimonial] game for [Andrea] Pirlo on [May] 21st. Then we don’t know, at the end of the season, if we have friendly games [before the World Cup].
“I don’t know anything about our end of season. For sure, in the next week, the situation will be more clear for this.”
