- Buhari to highjack PDP lawmaker to APC
The president of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed jokingly that he would like to “abduct” the Senate Minority Whip, Philip Aduda to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The senator (Aduda), is said to be a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and he is currently representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja in the Senate.

Aduda was among guests who paid homage to Buhari on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, at his official residence in the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
“This opposition leader maybe next election we will try and abduct him from his party, he seems to be enjoying so much at the Senate that he seems to be putting on weight by the day,” the President said while referring to Aduda.
Buhari added: “I’m very pleased that we are working very hard collectively as Nigerians and that God in his infinite mercy who knows what is in the heart and not by mouth, will continue to guide us so that we accommodate each other at all times.”
