When a ruling party turns removing the senate president to its main agenda, it results in heated polity – Fayose slams APC
Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has stated that the heated polity Nigeria is experiencing is due to the primary agenda of removing the senate president.
Fayose told the All Progressives Congress (APC), to stop the pursuance of the removal of Dr. Bukola Saraki as the senate leader and focis on more pressing issues as his removal will not reduce the price of foodstuff in the market.
Fayose wrote, “When a ruling party turns the removal of Senate President to its main agenda, the result is a heated polity.
“They are holding meetings upon meetings on Saraki’s impeachment as if removing the Senate President will reduce the price of rice to N7, 000 per bag that it was in 2015.
“It is appalling that after more than three years of blaming former President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP for their failure, they have now shifted their blame to Senator Saraki.”
